Hellooo Forest Friends!
Teacher Charlie here, with a very special song. It’s about the feeling of missing someone. It reminds us that when we miss somebody, it’s often because our love is so big. That very same love connects us even over distances.
It’s being sent as a link thru google drive I believe, so please let me know if it doesn’t work for you.
Some of us made this song together years ago when we were missing people in our lives. I think it can be a nice, repetitive song to round out a good cry. The words go like this:
Sometimes we miss the ones we love
cuz our love is so big.
Sometimes we miss the ones we love
cuz our love is so big.
Our love is so big.
Our love is so big, oh,
Sometimes we miss the ones we love
cuz our love is so big.
Sometimes we miss our [Babo, Nana, etc…]
In the attached video, I sing this song with my freaky cat Freddy Freaker. If anyone would like to, I’d be happy to sing the song again a different time. What I would like to do the next time I sing the song is to put words in that will help your individual families think about the people you miss. If you have words for the loved ones in your life, I’d love it if you sent them to me (Sometimes we miss our primos/ our babysitter/our daddies etc — whatever would ring true) and I’ll sing the song again soon with all the different loved ones in it.
I’m holding you all in my heart.
Love,
Teacher Charlie
