Good Morning:)
I hope you had a fantastic weekend. I have attached the lesson for today and hope you enjoy it as much as I did making it. Don’t hesitate to reach out to me if you have trouble viewing the video. I sent it as a Google link.
I’ve asked the children to:
*Look for things in their environment that are stars, triangles, rectangles, ovals or diamonds. It may seem like a lot but I want them to succeed in finding at least one shape.
*I will also be focusing on the number “6”. if the number is visible on a box, on a game or even on an appliance like the microwave I want your child to identify it and practice counting objects that correspond to it.
*They can also do some exercise by jumping, climbing, rolling or even tumbling six times while counting.
Reading is such a wonderful way to gain information, relax and take a trip free of charge. I know you read a lot already but I want to encourage you to continue to encourage your child to look to books for an outlet for their imagination. Ask them about their thoughts and maybe a different ending to the story. Help them build their vocabulary through books.
Thank you for working with us to stay in touch with our Juneberries.
