Good Morning Juneberries
Today we are going for a walk in my neighborhood. It was such a wonderful experience to see each of you when Teacher Lee and I came to your house so I thought we might end this year with a walk to the playground and a tour of my flower garden in my neighborhood. Taking the time to walk in our neighborhood is an experience that provides exercise and education as we note the various buildings and their importance, vehicles that are along the street and even noting the individual styles of the houses which can help children appreciate the fact that while the houses like us have similarities it is good to express yourself in your own environment.
As we move into the summer break I encourage you to take advantage of all the learning opportunities near and far for you and your children. During this time of seemingly continual uncertainty we can enjoy the beautiful attributes of nature all around us.
Fondly,
Teacher Octavia
