If you’d like, write your own my people poem with your child, making a list of things they love about nature and about their people (could be family, friends, neighbors, cultural group etc.).  They draw first or “write” first, having you transcribe their thoughts or practicing writing out some words themselves.  We’d love to see your poems and art!
