For today’s teacher video I read a class favorite The very Hungry Caterpillar, by Eric Carle.
Today’s activity is making a snack and then counting it. At school we often integrate counting in our day by counting how many pieces of snack we have on our plates and/or asking for a certain number from a teacher. For example, when a child wants more goldfish we ask “How many more do you want?” and count out the number they ask for.
